NEQJCC KICKS OFF Harmony initiative 6th ANNUAL FALL FOOD DRIVE

The Northeast Queens Jewish Community Council (NEQJCC), joined by Member of Congress Gary L. Ackerman and Assembly Member David I. Weprin kicked off the Sixth Annual "Harmony initiative Fall Food Drive," Sunday, September 12, 2010, at the Parker Jewish Institute on the North Shore-LIJ Campus, announced Chairman Corey Bearak and NEQJCC President Jack Friedman. NEQJCC organized the drive which runs through October 22.

The largest regional Jewish community council in the Greater New York area, NEQJCC sponsors this program with the Samuel Field/Bay Terrace Y, Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, UJA-Federation of New York, Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty.
